Fares Al Arab for Development & Charity Works & El Wedad Soc. Community Rehabilitation signed a cooperation understanding memorandum to implement a series of joint programs and projects between them, in the headquarters in Gaza City.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Mr. Tariq Al Banna, Chairman of Fares Al Arab and Dr. Naem Al Ghalban, Chairaman of El Wedad , the signature ceremony was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Organization, Zuhair Madi, and its secretary Zakaria Abdulsalam, Project Officer Ala'a Taha and from El Wedad Soc Mrs. Maha Abu Amer, the Treasurer, Mr. Baligh Abu Diab, Executive Director, Project Coordinator Eng. Fedaa Murjaan and Media and Public Relations Officer Mr. Omar Al Balawi.

Mr. Tariq Al Banna welcomed this memorandum which he sees that this is the embodiment of a true partnership through the development and implementation of a series joint programs and projects during the next phase, so that the signing of a memorandum of understanding is the key step to enhance cooperation and community partnership through which achieve the common interests between them.

Dr. Naem Al Ghalban appreciate this partnership and confirmed the role of civil society organization in the service of our children and the need to work together with all organization to enrich society by all means available to reach a balanced Palestinian society at all levels.

During the meeting, the programs, current and future projects and the working mechanism were discussed in order to achieve their goals and enhance community participation which will reflect positively on the advance sustainable development.

Al Banna appreciate the role of El Wedad Soc. in serving the Palestinian people through its implemented projects and activities, wishing the continuation of work and the embodiment of a partnership between them through the implementation of future joint projects.  

At the end of the visit El Wedad Association thanks Fares Al Arab for their good hospitality, hoping that this will be the beginning of work for greater cooperation in all fields to serve the Palestinian community.
