Fares Al Arab is celebrating tenth anniversary & honoring the partner organizations

Fares Al Arab for Development & Charity Works celebrated tenth anniversary with a host of international & local organizations, and the supporting partners in Light House restaurant in Gaza City, to honor all the organizations, the individual supporters and the contributors for their continuation in giving & uniqueness.

The celebration started with welcoming the representatives of funded organizations & attendance.

Mr. Tariq Al Banna, Chairman's Organization, reviewed through his speech the origins of the organization, the role of it, the projects and programs that have been implemented during the ten previous years, he thanked all the organizations for their efforts in the success of the charitable & humanitarian work of the organization in Gaza Strip, as he appreciated Fares Al Arab staff efforts representative by board of director members, volunteers on the big efforts that led to the arrival of the organization to better levels.

There was a video presented, shows the achievements of the organization and the projects that were carried out since inception in 2006 until 2016, which included a statistical number of beneficiaries each year, where Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Organization in Dubai is considered as one of the biggest supporting organization in the implementation of the projects that serve all poor and needy families in the various governorates of Gaza Strip, in addition to emergency interventions in cases of wars and disasters.

Mr. Tariq Al Banna, Organization's Chairman & members of the Board of Directors honored all partners and supporting organizations, in addition to some of the individuals that supported the organization which were Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Red Crescent, Islamic Development Bank, Al Maktoum foundation, United Palestinian Appeal (UPA), Public Affairs Office for US consulate General in Jerusalem, Terre des Hommes – Switzerland(TDH), Taawon Organization, ACTED -France and Shurbit Mai Akaweiah Ghazaweiah Initiative, Palestinian community in United Arab Emirates and Dubai TV representative.

All the attendees thanked Fares Al Arab Organization for their work which was based on the humanitarian & development works and its contribution in serving poor & needy people and to advance the Palestinian society through a series implemented projects.
